Player's Name: Shanna Layne
Age: 35 (Inquisition)
Gender: Male
Class: Warrior (2-Hand)
Specializations: Reaver, Berserker
Personality: Gunter, while looking somewhat intimidating at 6'4", is actually quite the teddy bear. He grew up in the Anderfels, surrounded by Grey Wardens. This gave him a deep respect for the order. One that was ingrained by his family. He also bears great respect for all people, regardless of race, color, creed. His drive to protect those he cares about is what makes him who he is. He is fiercely loyal, but once you lose his trust, it is gone forever.
Looks:

Preferred Romance: Gunter is pansexual, open to a relationship with anyone of any race, or gender identity.
History: Gunter was born in 9:06 Dragon in the city of Hossberg in the Anderfels of Northern Thedas. His father was a Grey Warden, and his grandfather before him. Both his brothers joined the Wardens when they became old enough, one of them dying during the Joining. He helped raised his younger sister, training with axes, mauls, and swords in his spare time. While this wasn't much training, it was enough to help defend Hossberg from any and all raiders or brigands that happened into the area. When he turned twenty, he went through the Joining himself, becoming a Grey Warden. He worked up through the ranks, and by the time he was thirty was sent to take over as the Warden Commander of Ferelden when Lillith Cousland gave it up to become the Queen of Ferelden.

Race: Human
Gender: Female
Class: Rogue/Mage
Specialization: Archery, Spirit Healer

Personality: Vareena was always a bit of a smart ass, it often got her in trouble. The sarcasm did help her become great friends with Varric Tethras. Her hiding her magic did her no favors with Anders.
History: Vareena was born in 9:07 Dragon, in the mall village of Lothering. The high amount of Templars in the area made her hide her magic, though her father did teach her in secret. She also learned how to use a bow, the rivalry her magic caused with Carver was evident right from the start. They fought constantly, whereas she and Bethany were constant friends. She fled with her family to Kirkwall in 9:30 Dragon when the Blight began in Ferelden. When she joined Varric and Bartrand's expedition into the Deep Roads, she left her siblings behind. Leading Carver to the Templars, and Bethany to the Circle of Magi. She never entered into serious relationships with any of her companions. He had just asked for her hand in marriage when they both came of age. He began training as swordsman after that, not willing to lose anyone else ever again. When he was 20, the Darkspawn Civil War broke out between The Architect and The Mother. He aided Warden-Commander Lillith Cousland, but his absence led the deaths of his mother, father, and four younger siblings. At this point he joined the Templars, needing to find purpose in his life again. He remained with them until the Templars segregated from the Chantry to purge the mages. His intentions had always been to protect the mages. He defended them from the other Templars, eventually making his way to Haven to join the Inquisition, gladly joining Cullen and his fellow Templars in aiding the Inquisitor in their efforts.

Gender: Female
Class: Mage
Specialization: Blood Mage, Spirit Healer

Looks:
Preferred Ship: Open, but mistrusting of humans.

History: Shaethari was raised in Clan Alerion, the same clan Merrill was born into. She spent most of her time initially training to become a hunter, until her magical abilities began to manifest when she was fifteen, considerably later than they appeared in most. She knew that they already had a First and Second. She would likely be sent to another clan because of it, so she tried to hide it, but their keeper knew better. It happened that Duncan was recruiting in the area at the time, and though she was young, he took the young mage in rather than allowing her to be sent to another clan. She became a Grey Warden at the young age of fifteen. Aiding Lillith Cousland and Alistair in the slaying of the Archdemon. She remained under Lillith's command during the Darkspawn Civil War in Amaranthine. Aiding the new Commander, Gunter Malthus, once Lillith stepped down from her position to be with her King.

Age: 19 (Origins), 30 (Inquisition)
Race: Dwarf
Class: Rogue (Dual Wield)
Specialization: Assassin
Personality: Veranni believes heavily in second chances, after being given a second chance at life by Lillith Cousland she changed greatly. While some parts of her personality remained, her sarcastic sense of humor, her quick tongue, a lot of things changed. The ruthless nature of Orzammar politics, she left it behind. She became more forgiving, willing to give almost anyone a second chance.
Looks: Veranni
Preferred Ships: Gorim Saelac, Varric Tethras
History: Veranni was born Arani Aeducan, second child of King Endrin Aeducan of Orzammar. She grew up knowing she was nobility, knowing that if needed, she could kill, bribe, extort, and sleep her way to the most powerful position in all of Orzammar. She spent most of her childhood with her second, Gorim Saelac. He not only her closest friend, second, and confidant. He was also her lover. They met during the night, when no one else was around to catch the pair. It was her way of flouting the heavy influence of dwarven politics, because paragons forbid she marry below her caste... When Bhelen betrayed her and her brother, she did not know that she was carrying the child of that lurid affair. Months in the Deep Roads though, it did not allow for the survival of the child. She lost the pregnancy after taking a heavy blow from a Hurlock. She eventually found her way to Cadash Thaig and fortified. She barricaded herself into one of the crumbling buildings and remained there, only sneaking out to find spiders to eat. She was eventually found by Lillith Cousland and her companions. This was where Veranni Cadash was born, 'Arani Aeducan is dead' she frequently has to remind herself. She travelled with Lillith to the Anvil of the Void, and back to Orzammar, where they crowned Bhelen King. He offered his sister the return of her name and Caste. She told him "Arani Aeducan is dead, I am Veranni Cadash now". She left Orzammar, joined up with the Carta, and never looked back.

Marcus Trevelyan

Character Name: Marcus Trevelyan
Age: 32
Gender: Male
Class: Rogue (Duel Wield)
Specialization: Assassin
Personality: Marcus is incredibly laid back, most of the time he prefers to sit back and let things happen. He is a joker, who speaks fluent sarcasm. Don’t let his sarcasm fool you, deep down he cares deeply for those he loves. He has a deep fear of commitment, which causes him to more of a one night stand type of person. For the right person though, Marcus would slowly settle down. He loves to play pranks on people. He also is a shameless flirt, he would flirt with just about anyone who is willing to play along.
Looks: Marcus
Preferred Ship: Dorian, Bull
History: Marcus is the oldest child of the Trevelyans of Ostwick. While his sister Laurel picked up a sword and shield, Marcus went for a more... Subtle touch. Sneaking around, picking locks, disabling poachers traps that he found on their land. He did it from the time he was a child. These were all attempts to control, and hide the magic that he discovered early in his childhood. He learned just enough to hide his abilities from people. Marcus was always the ‘trouble child’ in his parent’s eyes. He was the one who constantly got into trouble for sleeping with other noble’s daughters, or sons. He was always playing pranks any time that the nobles were together in one place… It was frustrating for his parents, so it was often that he found himself being bound to his room. This often frustrated Marcus to no end. So he would spend his days finding ways that he could sneak out of their massive home, he found over two dozen different ways that he could sneak in the first few days alone…

Lillith Cousland

Character’s Name: Lillith Cousland
Age: 18 (Origins), 19 (Awakening), 29 (Inquisition)
Race: Human
Gender: Female
Class: Warrior (Sword & Shield)
Specializations: Templar, Reaver, Spirit Warrior.
Personality: Lillith tries her best to sympathetic, but she often comes across as a bit of bitch. She tends to be colder to situations than her companions. Once she opens up and begins to care for someone, she will vehemently defend those that she cares for. She is loyal to a fault when it comes to those she loves and trusts. They are what keeps her grounded. She has very high self-confidence, it often borders on arrogance. A flaw that she knows she has, and one she works hard to try and fix. No one changes over night though. Her confidence has gotten her in trouble on more than one occasion, it’s why she would’ve never made a very good Teyrna for Highever. Gladly passing up the opportunity to her older brother Fergus. If people didn’t know her, she would come off as a bitch, and cold. Her sense of humor is dry, sarcastic. It tends to give people the wrong impression of her. She prefers intimidation to coercion and charm.
Preferred Ship: Alistair, Nathaniel Howe, Cailan, Ser Gilmore.
Looks:

History: Lillith was born and raised in Highever, born to Teyrn Bryce Cousland and his wife Teyrna Eleanor Cousland. She was the second child, her older brother was Fergus, with whom she was always competitive. She learned from an early age to wield a sword, something that she took great pride in. Her prowess with a blade was one thing she always coveted, she never let her skills slip. So she was constantly practicing as a child and growing up. She was never very good at ‘feminine’ things, despite her mother’s constant insistence that she would never find a husband if she didn’t learn these things. She was always close with Ser Gilmore, a young Knight in her father’s service. She often tested her skill against him so that her skills were always growing. She never intended for them to be anything but friends, but they were much more than that. Ser Roland Gilmore became her first love, even if her father and mother would never approve of a marriage to a knight and not a noble. She didn’t need to worry about that for long though. Not long after she fell in love with Gilmore, the Blight began, fighting in the South demanded her family’s attention. That was when Arl Rendon Howe, a man she had once greatly respected and trusted, betrayed her family. Attacking while they slept, and their army was away. Killing her sister-in-law and nephew, before attacking to kill her. Ser Gilmore held the gates as long as he could while her and her mother searched for her father. Finding him in the larder of the kitchen, mortally wounded. She lost both of her parents that night, and would have died herself if not for the Grey Warden Duncan, who saved her on one condition… She would become a Grey Warden. A condition that she readily accepted, leaving her mother and father, something that she regretted greatly. Despite this regret she kept looking forward, her hatred for Howe, and her desire for vengeance driving her on. She survived the Grey Warden joining, joining Alistair to take on the Bight. After the Archdemon was defeated, and the Blight ended Lillith was made the Commander of the Ferelden Grey Wardens. She travelled to Amaranthine and Vigil’s Keep to take control of the post, only to find the Keep in chaos. She recruited new Wardens, rebuilt Vigil’s Keep, made it stronger, better than it had been before. The Awakening of the Darkspawn was thwarted and Amaranthine saved, the Keep took much damage, but with the resources and talent that she had brought into the Wardens let them rebuild within five years. Around the time of the false Calling from Corpyheus Lillith and Evelyn sought each other out once again, this time with the intent for find a cure for the Darkspawn taint that caused Wardens to suffer an early death.

When she was ten, first learning fire magic, she was badly burned by another student. She was forced to relearn most things that required sight as her left eye had been badly burned. She can still see out of, but it tends to get fuzzy at times.
